For over 35 years, Frilot partner Ed Wallace has devoted his practice to defense of corporate and insurance clients in personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Wallace specializes in the defense of class actions, wrongful death, and personal injury suits, including cases involving asbestos exposure and trucking litigation. He has extensive experience dealing with insurance coverage disputes, including complex cases that occurred as a result of Hurricane Katrina with claims ranging from $7 million to $50 million, and bad faith litigation. Mr. Wallace has also handled environmental disputes, handling claims on behalf of refineries seeking to recover cleanup costs and other expenses resulting from a release of chemicals.
Mr. Wallace has been an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy at Tulane University School of Law since 1991.
