Daniel is an associate with the firm's maritime and energy defense groups.
He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law with a certificate in maritime law. While in law school, Daniel served as a Managing Editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, Speaker Chair for the 24th Tulane Environmental Law Summit, a student attorney in Tulane's Environmental Law Clinic, and as a member of various clubs and organizations.
Before law school, Daniel graduated Louisiana State University in 2015 with a B.S. in Environmental Management Systems and a minor in Philosophy. Many of his university courses emphasized environmental science, policy, and communication, as well as management and economics.
After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Daniel moved to Istanbul, Turkey for the second time. After two years of intensive coursework at Bogazici University's Institute of Environmental Science, he completed his masters thesis titled, "The Use of the GNOME Model to Predict the Impact of Oil Spills on the Bosphorus: an Application to Domestic and Migratory Birds."
